I always thought they made more than 277 HP, or is that a misprint?

You must follow protocol and request the price. We plebes will not get that info anyway.

The street cars were detuned quite a bit.

Considering that these can go for $250k and up, this dealer (if that's a picture of the dealer) has about $750k-$900k worth of inventory in just those three cars.
It's a great display and everything, but there's no way I'd leave cars like that all out in the open. The smash 'n grab potential is too high.

I drive past this place every time I go to work :) they've currently got both those M1s in the picture in the main showroom at the moment, but the Group 5 E21 that's behind it has been replaced by an E3 racecar. There's also a 1M next to that, but I think they've sold that now.
Out on the forecourt most days there's an assortment of E46 M3s, E90/92 M3s, E60 M5s, an 840CSi and an M635CSi. I've seen 3.0 CSLs, E28 M5s, E34 M5s, E30 M3s, Z4Ms, Z3 M Coupes, 1Ms E39 M5s, the lot out the front.
Around the back they've got a little holding pen at the bottom for cars that are awaiting work, including a Haartge M3. I can't remember how many pics of the place I took, but I did a bit of a scout around about a year ago. Some pics are here .
They were even really helpful when I took my beater E36 325i in there for some diagnostic work. Let me use their ODB tool for free, and ordered the part I needed promptly.
It's an amazing place :) shame I'm not more of a BMW nut really

I guess it is one of those, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" scenarios.

There was a performance package available when ordering the car that gave it a lot more power. I think it boosted it to around 350 HP. CACoalminor posted about it the other day. It was an expensive option but made the car perform like it should have.
